Free Evacuation Shuttles Offered October 9, 2023

On Wednesday, October 9, free evacuation shuttles will be available in several counties, including Manatee, Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, and Sarasota. These shuttles provide transport assistance to safe shelters amid ongoing emergency situations.
Residents in need of evacuation assistance can call 800-729-3413 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. for further information, or visit FloridaDisaster.org/Updates for updates on shuttle times and locations.
In Pinellas County specifically, several bus routes are planned to help evacuate residents:
- **Bus #1** will serve St. Pete Beach, Madeira Beach, and Indian Rocks Beach.
- **Stops:**
- St. Pete Beach Community Center (7701 Boca Ciega Dr): 7:00 - 9:30 a.m.
- Winn-Dixie (15200 Municipal Dr, Madeira Beach): 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
- Church of the Isles Parking Lot (200 24th Ave N, Indian Rocks Beach): 11:00 - 12:30 p.m.
- **Bus #2** will serve Clearwater Beach and Clearwater Beach Island.
- **Stops:**
- Clearwater Beach Parking Lot (180 S Gulfview Blvd): 7:00 - 9:30 a.m.
- Clearwater Publix Super Market (200 Island Way): 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
- **Bus #3** will cover North Pinellas County.
- **Stops:**
- Winn-Dixie (1171 S Pinellas Ave, Tarpon Springs): 7:00 - 9:30 a.m.
- Publix (902 Curley Rd, Dunedin): 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
- **Bus #4** will operate in Central Pinellas County.
- **Stops:**
- Publix (619 S Ft Harrison Ave, Clearwater): 7:00 - 9:30 a.m.
- Publix (13031 Walsingham Rd, Largo): 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
- **Bus #5** will serve Southern Pinellas County.
- **Stops:**
- Publix (5577 Park St, St. Petersburg): 7:00 - 9:30 a.m.
- Walmart (3501 34th St S, St. Petersburg): 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to utilize these services for safe evacuation.
