First Snowflakes Possible Tonight Through Wednesday Morning

The National Weather Service in Buffalo, NY has issued a snow potential alert for the area through Wednesday morning. The forecast indicates that the first snowflakes of the season may occur tonight and again on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
At higher elevations, minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected. However, no accumulation is anticipated in lower elevation areas such as Buffalo and Rochester. Residents in these lower areas might see some snow mixed in at times, but it is not expected to stick.
