Bend Hosts Open House for Neff Improvement Project

Staff Report / Bendlocal.org

The City of Bend is hosting an open house for the Neff Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Project on Monday, October 21, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Deschutes Children’s Foundation.

Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the project, meet the project team, and share any safety concerns before the design phase begins. The project is funded by the 2020 Transportation GO Bond, which was approved by voters. The city is seeking community input to help prioritize improvements and enhance safety for all users along the corridor.

In addition to the in-person open house, an online version will be available from October 21 to November 4 at bendoregon.gov/neffpedbike.
