Swearing-in ceremonies took place today at City Hall in Bangor, Maine, for newly elected members of the City Council and School Committee. Newly elected Councilors Michael Beck and Wayne Mallar, along with returning Councilor Susan Hawes, were sworn into office by City Clerk Lisa Goodwin. Additionally, School Committee members Sara Luciano and Ben Sprague also took their oaths.

Following the swearing-in, the City Council unanimously voted to reappoint Councilor Cara Pelletier as Council Chair for the upcoming year.
