**Columbus Police Seek Public's Help in Robbery and Assault Case**
COLUMBUS, OH - The Columbus Division of Police is asking for assistance in identifying four individuals connected to a robbery and assault that took place on October 17, 2024. This request follows a recent press conference where details of the incident were shared.
Around 11:46 PM on the night of the incident, three victims exited an Uber in the 1700 block of N. High Street. As the victims walked by, one of the suspects attempted to engage the female victim in conversation. Following this, one suspect threw an object at her and began to yell. When one of the male victims tried to help, all four suspects attacked him, hitting and kicking him until he fell to the ground.
While this victim was on the ground, one suspect stole personal belongings from him and kicked the items down the sidewalk. Another victim also had items taken from his pockets. When another victim attempted to interfere, he was struck by two suspects and then attacked from behind with what appeared to be a tire iron.
All victims sustained severe lacerations to the head and were transported to OSU Hospital for treatment.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspects involved. Anonymous tips can be reported to Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 or through their website at stopcolumbus.com.
