The National Weather Service has issued a forecast for additional precipitation and snowfall for areas in southeastern Pennsylvania and northwestern New Jersey on November 22, 2024.

Expected additional rainfall total for today includes 0.25 to 0.5 inches in Wantage, Mount Pocono, Morristown, Flemington, and Philadelphia. Light rain amounts of 0.10 to 0.25 inches are anticipated in Long Branch, Toms River, Vineland, Wilmington, Easton, Dover, Cape May, and Bethany Beach.

Snowfall will also be prominent, particularly in higher elevation areas. Mount Pocono is expected to receive 3-4 inches of snow, while Wantage may see 1-2 inches and Morristown is projected to get 1 inch of snow. There is a possibility of wet snowflakes mixing with rain.

Travelers in the impacted areas, particularly near and north of the I-78 corridor, should be cautious as roads may be slushy and snowy. Precipitation is expected to clear later this evening and continue overnight.
