UCLA's Jason De León Wins National Book Award

UCLA professor and alumnus Jason De León has received the National Book Award for Non-Fiction for his work titled 'Soldiers and Kings.' This book provides an on-the-ground account of human smuggling in Central America and Mexico. De León is noted as the second UCLA recipient to win this award in the past two years. The National Book Awards are organized by the National Book Foundation.
