East Cary Celebrates Global Cultures at Extravaganza

East Cary Magnet Middle School in Apex, North Carolina, held a Global Extravaganza event on Thursday to celebrate its mission as a Global Studies & World Languages Magnet School. The event featured a variety of activities including music, dance, artwork, storytelling, and games, promoting cultural exploration and appreciation among students.
The school’s magnet theme focuses on encouraging students to engage with diverse perspectives and communicate effectively across different communities. As part of their curriculum, students can choose to learn Spanish or Mandarin, which are offered at various proficiency levels: Exploratory, Intermediate, and Advanced.
