The most intense snowfall is forecasted to occur from Sunday morning through Sunday evening, with possible snow bands producing snowfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour. Total snow accumulations could reach 18 inches or more.

The winter storm warning is effective from 1:00 AM Sunday through 7:00 PM Monday for all counties in the region. In addition to heavy snowfall, cold air is anticipated to remain in place through most of next week with temperatures well below average.
