Albany Barn in Albany, New York is introducing their newest Resident Artist, known as Scrap. Scrap, also known as Wrenn, is a visual artist who has exhibited and written under different pseudonyms for over two decades. Wrenn has participated in collaborations and shows in various cities including New York City, Bronx, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Texas, and Lecce, Italy. In 2006-2008, Wrenn received the Mount Royal School of Art Graduate Fellowship Award at MICA for her MFA.
Some of Wrenn's notable exhibitions include a solo show called "kyuko and her soul" on E42nd St. in 2023, solo exhibitions at the John Davis Gallery in Hudson, NY in 2016 and 2018, and group shows at various art centers. Wrenn has also been a resident or fellow at several places such as Arts@Renaissance in Brooklyn, the Vermont Studio Center, and Zen Mountain Monastery in New York.
Through residencies, Wrenn has had the opportunity to develop her work in different artistic environments, showcasing her talent and creativity in various exhibitions and projects.
