Ohio Urges Drivers: Slow Down for Responders

Staff Report / cbuslocal.org

As part of Crash Responder Safety Week, the Ohio Department of Transportation is urging drivers to prioritize safety on the road. The theme for this year's campaign is "Responders Ahead! Reduce Your Speed As You Proceed!" The initiative highlights the importance of moving over and slowing down for any stationary vehicles that have flashing lights, including emergency responders. Motorists are reminded to always practice these safety measures to protect those working on the roadside. The campaign is supported by Ohio EMS in Columbus, Ohio.
