Whiz Quiz Teams Advance to Finals in Fort Worth

Last night, teams from the Whiz Quiz competition across the Fort Worth ISD participated in playoff matches to qualify for the finals. The competition featured three divisions: sixth grade, middle school (7th/8th grade), and high school. The top eight teams in each division faced off at the Teaching and Learning Center.
Whiz Quiz showcases the advanced academic and intellectual abilities of students within the district. Organizers expressed gratitude to the students, coaches, and community members who contributed to making the event enjoyable.
The final two teams from each division will compete on January 16th in the board room at the District Service Center. These matches will be streamed live online.
The teams advancing to the finals are:
- Daggett Montessori School
- Benbrook Middle-High School (both middle school and high school divisions)
- Young Men's Leadership Academy
- Riverside Applied Learning Center
- I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA
