Brunch Celebrates African Diaspora Thanksgiving Traditions

The African American Museum in Philadelphia is hosting a brunch event titled "A Taste of the Diaspora" on Sunday, November 24, 2024. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Jack T. Franklin Auditorium, located at 701 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19106.
Participants can expect to enjoy unique dishes and delicious drinks, along with engaging discussions. The event will be moderated by Dr. Afia Abroad, who will lead a conversation about Thanksgiving traditions observed in the African diaspora, highlighting celebrations in St. Lucia, Grenada, and the United States.
