A report from the National Weather Service in Philadelphia indicates that snow is expected late today and into Friday. The elevation of different areas will play a significant role in the amount of snowfall received. Specifically, the dark brown to grey regions in Carbon and Monroe counties, known as the Pocono Plateau, are forecasted to have the highest likelihood of receiving significant snow.
