Buffalo's 63rd Mayor Sworn In with Vision

Buffalo Mayor has been officially sworn in as the 63rd Mayor of Buffalo. The ceremony took place with the presence of family, city employees, government partners, community leaders, business leaders, members of the faith-based community, friends, and supporters.
The newly sworn-in Mayor expressed gratitude towards the city workforce, highlighting their commitment, passion, and diversity as key elements that contribute to Buffalo’s uniqueness.
Special acknowledgments were made to Rev. Mark E. Blue for providing the Invocation and to Chief Judge JaHarr S. Pridgen for administering the ceremonial Oath of Office.
The Mayor emphasized a forward-looking vision for Buffalo, pledging to tackle upcoming challenges with a fresh approach to city governance aimed at enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Mayor expressed optimism for the future, stating that Buffalo's best days are ahead and conveyed an honor in leading the city forward.
