High Temperatures Reported, Winter Weather Advisory Issued

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has reported today's high temperatures across various locations in the region. Boonville reached a high of 55°F, while Hamilton, Cooperstown, and Norwich all saw highs of 56°F. Delhi recorded a high of 58°F, and Binghamton reached 59°F. Other temperatures included 60°F in Towanda and Elmira, 62°F in Hazleton, and 58°F in Milford. Cortland and Penn Yan both recorded highs of 56°F and 59°F, respectively, while Ithaca also reached 60°F.
The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory and a Winter Storm Watch in anticipation of a complex weather system moving into the area tonight. Rain and snow showers are expected to last through much of the weekend. Residents are warned that while much-needed rainfall is anticipated toward the end of the work week, some areas may experience their first snowfall.
