Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Honors Exemplary Service Members

On November 21st, members of the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office and a community member were honored at a ceremony at the Springside Inn for their exemplary service. The following individuals received recognition:
- Vincent DeTomaso was awarded the Civilian Service Award.
- Deputy Valerie Stephens received a Letter of Commendation.
- Officer Sue Frost also received a Letter of Commendation.
- Deputy Neal Recckio received a Letter of Commendation.
- Deputy Brandon Androsko was recognized with a Life Saving Award and also received a Letter of Commendation.
- Deputy Cody Forgham was awarded a Life Saving Award.
- Deputy Matt Temple received a Life Saving Award.
- Deputy Ashley Lawson received a Letter of Commendation.
- Sergeant Brian Myers received a Letter of Commendation.
- Corporal David Martin received a Letter of Commendation.
- Registered Nurse Brittany Marquez received a Letter of Commendation.
- Deputy Sean Holmes received a Letter of Commendation.
- Deputy Jason Armstrong received a Letter of Commendation.
- Deputy Mike Gruver received a Letter of Commendation.
- Detective Sergeant Nicole Stewart received a Letter of Commendation.
- Deputy Harrison Sherman was named Rookie of the Year.
- Deputy Wayne Hunter was named Deputy of the Year.
The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office commended all awardees for their commitment to public service.
