JSO Promotes Road Safety After Recent Traffic Incident

Staff Report / jaxlocal.org

In a recent episode of the series "Bad Traffic," Jacksonville Sheriff’s Officer Dylan Bostick was seen pulling over a driver who was speeding during her morning commute. The driver expressed frustration, saying, "I’m late for work, dude."

Officer Bostick emphasized the importance of road safety, noting that the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) encounters a mix of friendly and unfriendly drivers each day, but their priority is to keep families safe.

So far this year, there have been 134 deaths on Duval County roads, highlighting the need for strict enforcement of traffic laws. The JSO is actively addressing this issue in their ongoing efforts to promote road safety.

The JSO is also encouraging community input on where to film future episodes of the series.
