**Garry Charles Bartlett Jr. Arrested for Murder of His Father**
**Jacksonville, FL** – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) has arrested 27-year-old Garry Charles Bartlett Jr. in connection with the murder of his father, 69-year-old Garry Bartlett Sr. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning on Fawn Lake Drive in the Deercreek area.
Upon arrival, officers found the elder Bartlett deceased with gunshot wounds. Following the investigation, which included the JSO’s Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit, detectives interviewed Bartlett Jr. Based on the evidence gathered and the interview, he was arrested and booked into the Duval County jail.
No additional details regarding the circumstances of the shooting have been released.
