**West Lake Middle School Recognizes Outstanding 8th Grade Teacher**

Apex, NC – West Lake Middle School is proud to acknowledge Christine Walton, an exceptional 8th grade English Language Arts teacher, for her contributions to the school community.

Ms. Walton has been recognized in the APSF Shoutout, a program by the Apex Foundation, for her ability to engage and challenge her students daily. She has also taken on leadership roles, including serving as the co-chair of the school’s Equity Team.

The school and its community extend their gratitude to FRESH Local Ice Cream and McDonald's of Apex, as well as Harnett County, for their support in celebrating the APSF Shoutout honorees.

West Lake Middle School is part of the Wake County Public School System and has a vibrant Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA).
